About Our Staff

Michael Lentz
Marketing Director and Compliance Officer

Michael Lentz is president and co-founder of Lentz + Lentz Strategic Investment Advisors, with offices in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada.  A Certified Public Accountant and Personal Financial Specialist, Mike has more than 28 years of experience helping people achieve their personal financial goals.

Mike is an acknowledged leader in the investment advisory industry, and his work has been nationally recognized.  In 1998, he received the outstanding achievement in professional wealth managment award from John Bowen, CEO and founder of CEG Worldwide, a research and consulting firm based in New York City. During October 2007, Mike completed the CEG Worldwide Cultivating the Affluent program.

Beginning his career with Arthur Young (now Ernst and Young), Mike quickly distinguished himself as an insightful educator of other CPA candidates.  Despite his success at the national level, where the accounting firm's focus was on providing services for large companies, Mike's personal commitment to serving the successful individual led him in 1984 to establish his own certified public accounting firm. Seeing the need to devote his attention entirely to helping his clients make smart financial decisions, he established Lentz + Lentz Strategic Investment Advisors in 1997.

Mike is also a well-known financial educator and is regularly invited to speak on various investment-and tax-related topics before the Nevada State Board of Accountancy, the National Assocation of Realtors, the Nevada Division of Insurance, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
